I am Vicky Robinson of Entertaining Acorns and I have been a Children’s Entertainer for many years. Creating smiles is my passion.

Every birthday event is specifically designed for the age and likes of your birthday child from 4 years plus. Their favourite themes, games and music can be easily included. And you have no need to worry: I am a qualified teacher with CRB and insurance, so you can relax while I take control and run the show.

All children join in (no sitting out games) and have a really great time. Boys and girls love the Parachute games as well as the dance parties and face-painting.

It’s your special party or event

You put a lot of planning and effort into birthdays and events, I recognise how important it is.

Your party will be adapted to the needs of the children and the event. They can be themed and all are bespoke to your requirements.

Firstly we will discuss your needs and go through the various party options. If you decide to book all it takes is an email confirmation. I will then contact you a week before to confirm the final arrangements. On the day I will arrive early to set up. Any questions just ask by phone or email and check the FAQ which is updated regularly.

Activity parties

All games are designed around the ages and likes of the birthday child, so no party is the same.

During the event I interact with the children and lead a variety of games to include, follow me games, bubbles, relays, parachute games, action songs and music games. I use positive reinforcement and make the birthday child the centre of attention (unless they are really shy). There are no sitting out games. Everyone gets a sticker and has a great time.

Have a Theme

Any excuse for dressing up and I am there any activity party can be adapted to a theme of your choice.

Sporty – Playing games in our favourite sporty clothes.

Pirates – The children can dress as Girl and Boy pirates and play games on the seven seas.

Fairies - Fairies and Pixies enjoy mystical games

Cowboys and Cowgirls - fun activities in the wild west.

Princess Parties - learn all the games and dances at a Princess Ball

Other popular choices include Monster, superhero, punk and Toy Story 3

Dance Parties

I love dancing and have been teaching dances for many years. As I Primary School teacher I co-ordinated the entire school production of Joseph. I have also been in several productions in the West End and South Bank. When it comes to Children’s parties the dances are simplified so they can learn several in only one hour.

The Children can just learn dances, or include games too.

It can be Michael Jackson, where you learn the Thriller dance and many of his hits.

Mamma Mia – to the original Abba songs.

High School Musical – With pom poms and full costume.

Songs of your choice. I have adapted a party to include any songs requested.

I also do Facepainting which be incorporated into any party if required.
