All About Vicky

I am Vicky Robinson and I have been entertaining and looking after children for over 10 years!

I have childcare and teaching qualifications and have experience in Schools, playschemes, creches and more.

With my experience of Special Needs I can adapt the games to meet the requirements of all the children.

I started Entertaining Acorns because I love working with children and keeping them entertained. I am very proud of my experiences and achievements and look forward to many more.

What I can provide

Quality, my equipment is of a very high standard and I love my parachute.

I have a vast knowledge of games, songs, fun activities and techniques of keeping groups of children under control

I will contact you a week before to confirm the arrangements – I will ask questions to adapt the party to meet the needs of the children and ensure the birthday child has their favourite games included.

Reliablity – this is my job. I am proud of my reputation and want to keep it that way.

Organisation – I will be there in plenty of time and have my equipment ready for smooth transition between games.

Keep involved during the food time – not all entertainers do this. I like to be involved the whole time. I dont want to miss out on the fun.

Listen to what you want to ensure it is the best party ever for your child. This is your party and your child is the most important person on their birthday.

What happens at the party

That depends on the age/ability of the children and how long you want the party for.

I cater for 3 to 10 year olds

I am available from 1 hour to all day. I would recommend a 2 hour party for older children and 1 hour for younger.

Activities include:

Parachute games

Relay races (using equipment)

Traditional Games like Duck Duck Goose, Follow me, Cones and domes.

Stories (to calm down before lunch and at the end)

Singing action songs

Dancing games

These activities can be adapted to meet the needs of the children in the group.

They are all inclusive games – so no-one sits out and gets bored!

Themed Parties

If you want a simply sportwear party that is great.

If you want a specific theme I can be…..

Pirate, Fairy or a Cowgirl

I will adapt some of the games to meet the theme.

Whatever you choose it will be great fun for Girls and Boys and your child will have an excellent time.

To make sure the party is safe as well as fun I have all the insurances and qualifications required.

Even with all of this I cannot do a party unattended so other adults will need to be present

I am available 7 days a week

I can cater for Weddings, Corporate Events, Charities/Fundraisers

Even adult team building – must have a sense of humour.
